Sundays are set aside in our family as family day. Whether it be taking in an event, visiting an attraction or just staying home and watching a movie. It is a fun and straightforward way to create family memories.
Our kids grow up so fast and with the age difference of my two (9 yrs), it is hard to always find something that they both like to do.
Since tonight is the big game, we wanted to find something to do before that would be fun for all of us. So, when we heard about the Globetrotters tour coming to the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, I knew we had to go!
The Globetrotters have been a family friendly group that has been around since I was little! I can remember watching them on tv. Their shows have always been family friendly and that is something that I have always liked about them.
Originally, I had thought they had only been around since the 1960s, however, I was wrong! The Globetrotters were founded in 1926! Now, nine decades later, their show has even more amazing basketball game skills with their focus still being on family friendly entertainment!
If you are thinking of attending a Globetrotters show, there are a couple of things to keep in mind:
Be prepared to laugh
Be prepared to be an active part of the show
Be prepared to see the smile on your kids faces (even your teens)
Be prepared to see fascinating dunks, blink of an eye trick shots, lots of comedy, and some fun competition!
Be prepared to even see your teenagers stop texting their friends and enjoy the show!
With a star-studded roster featuring Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard and Cheese Chisholm - plus female stars TNT Lister, Ace Jackson and Hoops Green - the Harlem Globetrotters' show is unrivaled in the world of family entertainment. Their 2018 World Tour will showcase incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy and unequaled fan interaction. After the game, Globetrotter stars will sign autographs and take photos with fans.
Another way to make this show an epic event for your family is to buy tickets to Magic Pass! Magic Pass is an exclusive pre-game event where you and your family can:
Shoot hoops with the Globetrotter Stars
Learn tricks with the Globetrotters
And get autographs and selfies with the Globetrotters!
